The HD-TVI vandal-resistant dome security camera features 2.8-12 mm megapixel DC-driven auto-iris lens to cover large areas, along with a 1/2.9″ Sony CMOS image sensor that delivers 2.1 megapixel resolution.

HD-TVI technology produces 1920 x 1080 (1080p) full-HD video with sharp, detailed images, and enables the camera to transmit zero-latency HD video over coax cabling.

Megapixel Resolution – Cover more area and see more detail. Megapixel cameras can cover a larger area without compromising image quality. Megapixel resolution cameras deliver high-definition images with much greater detail. They are ideal where a greater level of detail is needed, such as for facial recognition and license plate identification.

HD-TVI Technology – High-definition video over coax. HD-TVI sends zero latency 720p or 1080p full HD video over RG59 coax cabling. HD-TVI cameras and DVRs offer the advantages of HD resolution video, but are as easy to install as standard analog CCTV equipment. HD-TVI enables longer cable runs for long distance installations, with transmission distances of up to 1600′ over RG59 coax cables.

AISI-316 Grade Stainless Steel – Resists corrosion. AISI-316 stainless steel the second most common grade of stainless steel (after 304). It is well-suited for use in automated carwashes, and medical, manufacturing, and food service environments. The alloy addition of molybdenum to the stainless steel prevents specific forms of corrosion from sodium and calcium brines, hypochlorite solutions, phosphoric and sulphuric acids. AISI-316 is also known as marine-grade stainless steel, due to its increased resistance to sodium chloride corrosion from salt water, and is well-suited for harsh marine environments.

Noise reduction is critical for video because noise affects image quality. Cameras with 3D-DNR produce sharper, more accurate video images.

True Day/Night (ICR) – Enjoy around-the-clock surveillance. Our day/night cameras with true day/night (ICR) deliver a sharp image in low light and nighttime conditions. An IR cut filter blocks out infrared light to produce true-to-life color images during the daytime. In low light conditions and at night, the filter is removed, letting infrared light pass through to provide crisp, well-defined black and white images.
