Audio Exception Detection

The Audio Exception Detection feature enables you to detect when an abnormal sound, such as a sudden increase or decrease in the sound intensity, occurs in the surveillance area. The camera recognizes when an Audio Exception event occurs, and can be set to sound an alarm or send a notification in these instances.

  • Identify sudden increases in sound intensity higher than a designated volume
  • Identify sudden decreases in sound intensity lower than a designated volume
  • Set up a schedule for when the camera senses Audio Exceptions
  • Adjustable camera sensitivity allows you to set the sound intensity threshold (range: 1 to 100), to filter the ambient sound in the environment, to prevent false alarms and/or event triggers
  • The VCA Search feature saves time by allowing you to quickly find, review and download video of Audio Exception Detection events
  • The Video Playback feature allows you to easily review and analyze Audio Exception Detection events
